3401 data acquisition and alarming

The 3401 is a pre-configured member of the 3400 series of control products. The 3401 is designed to monitor sensor inputs and drive a digital output(s) if the value exceeds the user entered high and low limits. The 3401 can be used in conjunction with an exisiting PID controller, such as the MDE 3400 series, to provide extra alarming and/or data monitoring. Also, by using the included SuperView software, the monitoring inputs can be logged to files and displayed graphically. Ethernet connectivity allows the 3401 to network to PC's or other controllers using standard TCP/IP communication protocols. Set the 3400 datasheet for more information.

  • Up to 30 high resolution sensor analog inputs in a single unit.
  • Separate high/low alarms for each sensor input
  • Math functions for generating a Guaranteed Soak output signal for control applications.
  • Each sensor alarm can be routed to a digital output for driving a relay.
  • Up to 6 frequency inputs for speed monitoring and alarming.
  • Complete data logging and graphing with included SuperView software for Windows.
  • Ethernet TCP/IP or 422/485 communications
